dunhill launches international Fathers' Day campaign by VCCP

dunhill, the exclusive men's tailors, is launching a press campaign to coincide with Fathers' Day which falls on June 15th this year.

The international press campaign, created by VCCP, uses the iconic dunhill 'd' as the centre piece of the ad, wrapped in a presentational bow and prefixing the sentence 'is for dad', thus inferring the luxury stores are the best place to shop for that special Fathers' Day gift.

There is an accompanying strap line 'the place to go to make your Father's Day'.

VCCP has created a series of ads for dunhill using elements of the logo to reinforce the brand's credentials and heritage.

As Michael Sugden, Managing Partner of VCCP said: "There is strength in the brand's logo; it has real appeal and meaning to its customers. Thus, we believe it should be integral to creative campaigns rather than a mere appendage as so many logos are."

The ads will appear in men's and women's leading glossy titles, Sunday supplements and a number of other luxury titles worldwide.
